M Ali Saeed,MD
Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Saeed spent his early childhood in Mexico City and then made Houston his home. He graduated from the University of Houston Honors Program. After attending medical school, he completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. Following his residency, he attended the prestigious Brown Medical School and Rhode Island Hospital for his vascular and interventional radiology fellowship. He spent eight years working with West Houston Radiology Associates. He served as Medical Director of Radiology at West Houston Medical Center for over four years and was elected physician of the year in 2011 and Chief of Staff elect in 2014. For the past 10 years, Dr. Saeed has been changing patients lives in his outpatient interventional radiology center where his focus is on peripheral arterial disease and limb salvage, as well as dialysis access management. He is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Urdu/Hindi. His hobbies are playing soccer and golf and traveling. He is married and is the proud father of three boys. Dr. Saeed is an adjunct assistant professor in the department of interventional radiology at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of Harris County Medical Society.
Samer Ghafir,MD
Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Ghafir is a passionate Interventional Radiologist professional who completed his radiology residency and vascular/interventional radiology fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, Canada He furthered his education by completing a fellowship in body imaging at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Ghafir is dedicated to providing excellent care to his patients.
Elias Olivares,RT
Lab Director
Laredo Texas native with a passion for healthcare. Graduated from an Accredited Radiology Technology Program in 2007. Attended Texas A&M International University where he worked on a bachelor’s in biology with a minor in chemistry. Since has developed professional skills in the disciplines of Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology. With seventeen years of experience and eleven years alongside Dr. Saeed, Elias is always seeking to bring the latest in technology and treatment options for our patients and improve the overall experience of outpatient procedures.
Coraly Isaac,RT
Radiology Technician
Coraly Isaac has worked as an interventional radiologic technologist for the last 17 years. She is a graduate of an accredited radiology school along with achieving her bachelor’s in radiologic sciences from Midwestern State University in 2020. She has worked in different sections of healthcare from oncology to emergency medicine, but her passion has always been in interventional radiology and helping patients. She enjoys interacting with her patients along with her co-workers. When she’s not tending to her patients, she can be found humming away to most of the music playing around her . On her free time, she loves to listen to music and love on her sweet, bearded dog Luna.
Jessica Fleming,RN
Registered Nurse
Jessica is a Registered Nurse and has worked in healthcare field for ten years (since 2013). She has many years of experience in various roles including Med Surg -Tele, ER/Trauma, Rehab, Hospice, Outpatient Oncology Clinic and LTAC. When not caring for patients, she enjoys attending her children sporting events in college, spending time with family and friends, and busy being a dog mom and grandmom to two playful Maltipoos Nola and Penelope Alone time, you can find Jessica binge watching Law & Order, Chicago PD, and front and center on NFL game days.
Ashley Arnold,RN
Registered Nurse
Ashley graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have since worked in various departments, including PACU, Endoscopy, and Interventional Radiology. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, However Ashley has made Houston her home for the past three years. When she is not caring for patients, she is a busy dog mom to two playful Labrador Retrievers. Outside of work, you can find Ashley binging Netflix documentaries, shopping, and spending time outdoors with her dogs.
Lourdes Rosales
Registered Medical Assistant
Lulu is a skilled Medical Assistant with Over 30 years’ experience in providing a variety of healthcare services and administrative assistance and support. She possesses a genuine passion for compassionate patient care, and helping others.
Graduated from TXSB in 1993 and has experience in Family Practice, Oncology, and Interventional Radiology. She has been working with Dr Saeed and Dr Ghafir at AVIC for 10 years.
Born and raised in Laredo Texas, a Houston transplant since 1982. She is Fluent in English and Spanish.
Proud and Dedicated Mother of 3 and Grandmother of 8. When she is not working, she enjoys Fishing, BBQ’s, Travel and the Dallas Cowboys.
Iris Ducros
Registered Medical Assistant
Iris Ducros, a proud Louisiana native, is a graduate of Bryman College and a highly experienced Registered Medical Assistant with over 32 years in the healthcare industry. Throughout her career, she has cultivated a deep passion for patient care, emphasizing compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. Iris has worked in various medical settings, honing her skills in patient communication, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks.
Known for her warm demeanor and dedication, Iris strives to make every patient feel valued and at ease. Her extensive experience allows her to adapt to diverse medical environments, always prioritizing the needs of those she serves.
When she’s not caring for patients, Iris enjoys spending quality time with her family, who are her greatest source of joy and inspiration. She is also an avid reader of mystery novels, finding excitement and relaxation in unraveling a good plot. Whether at work or at home, Iris brings the same enthusiasm and dedication to everything she does.
Juliette Wiltz
Physician Liaison
Juliette is native of Houston Texas and have worked in the Medical industry for 20 plus years. She enjoys calling on existing and potential clients in the local and surrounding areas. Juliette helps to bridge the communication gap between Healthcare facilities and Advanced Vascular & Interventional Center to ensure proper patient care.
