Dr. Ghafir completed both his radiology residency and vascular/interventional radiology fellowship at McGill University in Montreal,  Canada.

Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in body imaging at the Baylor College of Medicine.

He has been in private practice in Houston for nearly 22 years.  He has extensive experience in both interventional and diagnostic radiology.

Dr. Ghafir is certified by American Board of Radiology and also by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
